Emergency Medical Techician (EMT) Course
The Emergency Medical Responder core scope of practice includes simple, noninvasive skills focused on lifesaving interventions for critical patients based on assessment findings. EMRs serves as a part of our crew but not as the primary care provider. An EMR must function with an EMT or higher level personnel during the transportation of patients. The EMR course is 60 hours, with classes every Wednesday evening and one Saturday a month from January 2023 to March 2023

The Emergency Medical Technician's core scope of practice includes basic, noninvasive intervension to reduce the mortality associated with acute out-of-hospital medical and traumatic emergencies. Emergency care is based on assessment findings. An EMT works under a paramedic but may make destination decisions in collaboration with medical oversight. The EMT course is 140 hours, with classes every Wednesday evening and one Saturday a month from November 2022 to April 2023
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique that's useful in many emergencies, such as a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. First Aid courses are designed to help non-medical professionals provide assistance in times of crisis.
First aid and CPR is offered every 3rd Monday of every month, alternating between Healthcare Providers and the general public. For a schedule or courses and to sign up, please contact us.
